The Monroes

‘The Monroes’ are proud to have both female and male vocals giving them true versatility that covers many styles of music, but it’s the stage show that the band are most proud of. Energy, Excitement, Entertainment.

This covers band that will excite your senses, exceed your expectations, keep you entertained and have you dancing through to the end.

Lou’ana Whitney

A jazz-soul-funk vocalist with a distinct unique style and sound. She gigs regularly around the country in a variety of projects including Two Many Chiefs and Hipstamatics.

Lou’ana’s repertoire is an eclectic set infused with jazz, soul, blues and funk. Always a captivating performance.

Lock & Load

Guitar and drums duo ‘Lock & Load’ from Tauranga are set to make a return and bring festival goers to their feet once again. The popular upbeat duo will be performing hits from days gone by to favourite playlists and singalongs we all know. Drummer Nick Ririnui says “I can’t wait for Pete Ormsby (guitar) and myself to come and share our love for music at the festival, it’s going to be a blast.”

Crimson Coast

A band of experienced Coromandel musicians who play their own original kiwi music. Genres range from country rock, pop, reggae to blues that keeps them growing as musicians and is fun for audiences. Lance Strong (guitar/vocals), Ava Strong (drums/vocals), Ray Simpkin (lead guitar/vocals), Paul Matthews (bass/vocals) and Kelly Peihopa (vocals/percussion). Crimson Coast performs regularly at many local music festivals and is looking forward to performing for the first time at the A Taste of Matarangi festival.
